LG releases world’s first flicker-free certified 3D TV

The CINEMA 3D LW5700 television, which is equipped with LG’s next generation CINEMA 3D has recently been announced by LG Electronics.

What makes this 3D TV the most perfect for 3D viewing amongst the plethora of 3D TVs already available in the market today is that the 3D TV is the first to offer “flicker free” certified 3D picture in the industry with comfortable, light weight glasses, brighter picture, more flexible and wider viewing positions and a wide viewing angle. The final 3D image that one gets to view is extremely clear and smooth given the fact that the glasses are specially designed to receive each image and don’t need to be shuttered.

The certification on flicker free is the first of its kind as two Europe based agencies which are well known for their credibility in this certification process have awarded this certificate to LG.

Raul Kochar, LG CEO in the region said, “With such a smooth picture, CINEMA 3D TV eliminates the feelings of dizziness or eye fatigue that could occur with previous TVs, meaning viewers can enjoy 3D content for longer and in great comfort.”

Kenyan football National team captain Dennis Oliech who is also the LG cup footballer of the tournament graced the occasion of the certificate awarding ceremony. He was rewarded with a 46 inch LG LW5700 TV at the event.
