KARACHI: Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Patron-in-Chief SM Muneer and President Salman Aslam have expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Imran Khan for announcing the industrial package.
SM Muneer said that the realization of the importance of this package by the Prime Minister is pleasant. Overseas Pakistanis will also be able to benefit from this scheme. He said that this package would reopen the ailing industries while increasing the opportunities for new industries.
SM Muneer said that the Prime Minister fulfilled his promise to the industrialists. He said that this initiative would increase employment opportunities, increase exports from industrialization and Pakistan would grow again.

Welcoming the Prime Minister's industrial package, KATI President Salman Aslam said that the scheme would provide tax exemption to Pakistanis abroad for investment in the country. However, on the revival of the ailing industry, the requirement to disclose sources of income to investors has been abolished, which is likely to revive the closed industry.
President KATI appealed to Pakistanis abroad and local investors to take full advantage of this opportunity and invest in Pakistan. He said that with this move, the government has won the hearts of the industrialists.

Salman Aslam hoped that the Prime Minister's package would reduce the unemployment rate and accelerate Pakistan's economic growth.
