The Optimus L3 is part of LG’s latest L series range of smart phones, aimed specifically for style conscious but low-end smartphone markets.
The L3 sits at the bottom of the L range and features a 3.2-inch screen, an 800MHz processor and is powered by Android Gingerbread.
Screen size of 3.2 inches offers a measly 240×320-pixel resolution. That’s pretty low, even for a budget phone, so it’s clearly one of the key areas LG has cut back on in order to keep the price down.
If you’re particularly after a phone to show off your glorious snaps or do a lot of web browsing, this screen won’t be much use for you, but if you only need to send a few texts and emails and periodically check Twitter, I think it’ll do just fine.
Then there comes a sufficient 3 MP camera and an internal ram of 384 MB. Phone comes with 1 GB of internal memory and external memory to be expandable up to 32 GBs.
The L3 comes with Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, which is the older version specifically for phones, rather than the more recent Ice Cream Sandwich that’s designed to perform the same on both phones and tablets.
