While acknowledging that problems did exist in the public education sector, the Sindh Information Minister said the state and government were under an obligation to sort out these issues.
He said the government was bound to fulfill the responsibility of providing quality school education to children free of charge. He, however, said the standard of the government-run schools should be improved so that concerned parents sent their children to these educational institutions without any fear.
Ghani said the availability of qualified teachers at the government-run schools was compulsory for achieving the target of educating every child in the country.
He urged the newly recruited teachers to perform their academic duties with full commitment, dedication, and honesty for playing their due role in the development and progress of Sindh and rest of the country.
