Five Soldiers Martyred in Landmine Blast in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Karam District

A security forces vehicle was struck by a landmine blast in the Karam district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 21, resulting in the martyrdom of five soldiers. The ISPR confirmed the incident, identifying the martyrs as Havaldar Aqeel Ahmed, Lance Naik Mohammad Tafeer, Sepoy Anush Rafoon, Sepoy Muhammad Azam Khan, and Sepoy Haroon William.



The ISPR stated that the soldiers embraced martyrdom while making the ultimate sacrifice for their country. A clearance operation is currently underway to eliminate terrorists in the area, and the perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice. The security forces remain resolute in their commitment to eradicating terrorism, strengthened by the sacrifices of their brave soldiers.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the attack, expressing deep regret over the loss of the soldiers and paying tribute to their sacrifices. He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, emphasizing that their great sacrifices will always be remembered and that the nation remains steadfast in its determination to eliminate terrorism completely.
